Training course:
The 4-day training course will provide a practical introduction to genomics analysis as well as integrative analysis of multiomics data in genomic medicine. The course provides attendees with a unique opportunity to interact closely with the world-leading researchers who serve as instructors.

The concept and application of next generation sequencing in genomic medicine, genome-wide association study of complex traits using large scale SNP array data, manipulation of epigenome and transcriptome data, concept and application of Mendelian randomization approach, human population genetics and its application to genomic epidemiology, and cancer genomics.

Attendees:
The course is aimed principally at advanced doctoral students or post-doctoral researchers who need to apply next-generation sequencing and large-scale SNP genotyping data in medical studies. Applicants will be selected based on description of their background and future research projects to be submitted when applying the course. The number of attendees will be limited up to approximately 30.
Course fee:
Academic: 30,000 yen
Non-academic: 60,000 yen

Symposium:
The course will be followed by a symposium with invited international speakers to provide perspectives on recent advances in understanding disease genomics. The symposium will be open to the course attendees and others from the scientific community. There are no fees for the symposium, but advance registration is recommended.
