Description:<\/strong>
The 3-day course will provide a practical introduction to analysis of next generation sequencing data from handling of raw data to applications in study of human disease. As example of analysis techniques, methods to examine exomic sequence and RNA-seq data will be covered in depth. We will illustrate the use of sequence data in combination with methods for mapping disease genes in genetic studies.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The course is aimed principally at advanced doctoral students or post-doctoral researchers who need to apply next-generation sequencing in medical studies. As places will be limited, applicants will be selected based on a description of their background and future research projects to be submitted when applying for the course.
The number of attendees will be limited up to approximately 40.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
